Take a Virtual Tour...

Want to see behind the scenes?

Then check out our FBC Virtual Brewery Tour, for a full low-down on the Brewing Process, Packaging Lines, Tasting Room and Storefront.

With a busy production schedule year round, we are really sorry, but we are unable to offer tours. However with a fully stocked Tasting Room and Storefront open 6 days a week, (7 days a week come winter!), we look forward to seeing you at the Brewery to sample some beer fresh from the source, chat with the crew (there is more than likely some FBC staff doing some product sampling), and watch a collection of #ferniestoke videos on the screen to get you ready for your visit in Fernie.

Our History

In 2003, the Pask family, long-time residents of Fernie had a dream of their own, to bring the brew back to the small rocky mountain coal mining town. They did just that, setting up a Brewery in their family barn. It was the start of things to come.

In 2007 we relocated to our existing building, designed and built from scratch. With constant growth, Brewhouse expansion, new products and revamped recipes, we’ve traveled through kegs to cans to 650ml bottles and into growlers, currently distributing throughout BC, Alberta, Manitoba and limited availability in Saskatchewan.

As we continue to grow, we’ll never forget our roots. It’s as simple as Good Beer in a Good Town.

At our award winning brewery, we take no shortcuts. We use premium 2-row barley malt and European Hops. We let our Ales age to perfection. We use no fillers, adjuncts or preservatives. The result is delicious & refreshing brews.

Whether flavoured with local delicacies or Canadian favourites, our specialty brews are the creativity of many minds that have been exposed to an excessive amount of mind-clearing mountain air. Be warned, the result can be dangerously delicious...

"Cheers to Charity!"

Since December 2013, we've been running our "Cheers to Charity" Program. 100% of tasting money goes to a variety of worthy local charities, organizations or clubs. $5 for a paddle of four beers. Paddles are available during Store opening hours.

Past recipents have been the Fernie BMX Club, Fernie's stoke folk band Shred Kelly, the Elk Valley Hospice, Fernie Nordic Society, Fernie Museum, and The Fernie Trails & Ski Touring Club to name but a few. We've donated over $50,000 since December 2013, so come by to quench your thirst and raise a glass to a good cause.

Click below to read more about our past recipients. Or, if you know of a worthy charity or organization (one with legal drinking aged members!), please get in touch.
