THE GRIZ PALE ALE

FBC’s very first brew.

From mountain peaks to river valleys, The Griz has always been a perfect partner to venturing into the great outdoors. With a light malt colour, this refreshing ale uses dry-hopping to give it a distinctive hop aroma and bitterness, classic to the style.

The Griz eventually retired in 2017, making way for the more on-trend Campout West Coast Pale Ale – a now multi award-winning brew.

The Griz, part of FBC’S 20th Anni Retro Pack, is available on tap for a limited time and won’t hang around for long!

Join us at noon today for our Griz Days pilot brew, a Tom Collins Sour brewed in collaboration with Fernie Distillers. Using Fernie Distillery gin botanicals, this brew has a lemon aroma with a tart finish coming in at a sessionable 4%.

Then, from 2-4pm, Sam and Megan from the Fernie Nordic Society are in Griz Days jail and need your help to raise bail!

Wanted for breaking the speed limits on the nordic trails, they’ll need your help to make bail so they can get back to ripping on xc skis ASAP.
