With June in the rear view, we’re launching into a new month with another exciting Cheers to Charity switchover!
June was a very special month, having Fernie Friends for Friends on the board, raising a total $1,966.25 for this incredible local organization.
The funds raised via our Cheers to Charity sample flights will help Fernie Friends for Friends continue to offer invaluable financial and emotional aid to many locals and their families, going through cancer treatment.
Holding a special place in our hearts, we are so grateful for the support Fernie Friends for Friends has offered countless individuals and families in our community – including our past Brewmaster, Gord Demaniuk. It’s for this reason that we look forward to having Fernie Friends for Friends on our Cheers to Charity board, every June, over Gord’s birthday ♥️
Following this donation, the sum of our Cheers to Charity donations now sits at an amazing $188,687.33. A huge thanks to everyone who has walked through our doors, and raised a flight over the years!
Keeping up the momentum, we’d like to welcome the Fernie Family Garden to our Cheers to Charity program! The Fernie Family Garden, are currently working towards building an accessible pathway and garden tables, to support the local community with accessible garden features. Striving to be a welcoming space for everyone of all ages and abilities, their principles focus on accessibility + inclusivity, sustainability + education, and physical + mental wellness.
With our summer hours in full swing, join us for a flight in the name of Charity, from 11am – 7pm Sunday to Wednesday, and 10am – 9pm Thursday – Saturday! Cheers 🍻
