Hot on the heels of summer, we’re celebrating the longer days and balmy nights with a Cheers to Charity switchover!
After two months of trail rides, patio brews and crisp flights, together with your help we managed to raise a total of $2,589.75 for the Elk Valley Suicide Task Force, via our Cheers to Charity sample flights!
These funds will be going towards the EVSTF’s ongoing efforts to promote awareness and prevention of suicide in the Elk Valley, by connecting the community to available resources, services, events, and educational tools.
We’re so grateful to have an organization like the EVSTF in our community, and hope that these funds help raise further awareness about the programs available, and encourage more conversations about well-being between friends.
Following our donation to the EVSTF, the sum of our Cheers to Charity donations to date now sits at an amazing $186,721.08. A big thank you to everyone who has helped us fundraise for these incredible local organizations throughout the years!
Without further ado, join us in welcoming back to our Cheers to Charity board, a very special local organization, Fernie Friends for Friends.
Very close to our hearts here at FBC, Fernie Friends for Friends offer invaluable financial and emotional support to so many Fernie individuals, and their families, going through cancer treatment – including our past Brewmaster, Gord Demaniuk. It’s for these reasons that this incredible local organization appears on our Cheers to Charity board, every June.
