The sun is shining, the town is bustling, and the Cheers to Charity flights are pouring like crazy!
Following just over five weeks on our Cheers to Charity board, along with your help we managed to raise an absolutely incredible $4,598.00 for July’s recipients, the Fernie Family Garden!
The funds raised via our Cheers to Charity sample flights will be going towards the Fernie Family Garden’s efforts to build an accessible pathway and garden tables, to offer the Fernie community a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone of all ages and abilities. Now that’s a cause we can cheers to!
Following this amazing donation, the sum of our Cheers to Charity donations now sits at $193,285.33. We’d like to extend a giant thank you to everyone who’s come by, and helped us fundraise for all these amazing local organizations through the years! Blazing on full speed ahead, join us in welcoming our newest (and cutest) Cheers to Charity recipients, Twin Meadows Animal Rescue Society (TMARS)!
A local non-profit dedicated to helping animals in the Elk Valley, TMARS is a fully volunteer-run organization, relying solely on the community’s help to better the lives of animals in need. Since being founded in 2020 to facilitate the need for displaced, stray, and at-risk animals, the demand for their help has increased each year. In 2021 they helped 150 animals in the Elk Valley with veterinary care, rehabilitation, and re-homing.
All profits from our Cheers to Charity flights will be going towards TMARS’ ongoing vet bills, sorting out foster homes, and helping find permanent adopters for animals in need!
With another few months of long, hot days ahead, be sure to swing by our Tasting Room and join us in raising a flight for this amazing local organization! You can find us pouring from 11am-7pm Sunday to Wednesday, and 10am-9pm Thursday – Saturday! Cheers 🍻
