The totals are in, folks!

This past September, in celebration of the 2022 Elk Valley Pride Festival, we were beyond stoked to bring our community two amazing collaborations with the Fernie Pride Society (FPS) – a FBC x FPS Collab Brew, and a Crafted with Love Charity T-shirt, with profits going towards the Fernie Pride Society.

Teaming up with Lev Sonego, founder of Glitterburns – a Nelson-based company specializing in graphic design and illustration for queer-owned businesses and gender-inclusive products and services – along with FPS, the limited edition Crafted with Love Charity t-shirt was released on September 7th. Following a great two months, we’re excited to announce that along with our awesome and supportive community’s help, we were able to raise an incredible $1492.80 for The Fernie Pride Society! Now that’s a donation we can all raise a glass to! 🍻

Spearheaded by Helen Hopkins, FBC’s Human Resources Manager, this t-shirt was a fantastic and uplifting way to raise money for a great cause. “FBC wanted to highlight an amazing organization that not only provides programming and support to the local LBGTQ2+ community, but also provides guidance and resources to local businesses on how to be an inclusive employer,” said Hopkins.
